A Weekend in Bali

An impromptu visit to Bali for a weekend. With no plans to really speak of and such a short visit, what could possibly happen ... My first visit was circa 1997. I stayed for a month, drove 3/4's the way around the island and fell in love with the place, the people, the food and their culture. I returned in 2009 for a week and it felt like nothing had really changed. This time, a villa with a swimming pool, amongst the rice fields will do just fine - for a weekend.
